Dons fans Derek and Sandra Clough felt just grand after purchasing their tickets for Saturday's game against Walsall from the Dons Box Office at thecentre:mk.
The Leighton Buzzard couple became the unit's 1,000th customers since it was opened on Crown Walk last month, and had their tickets upgraded to clubGold as a result!
Having originally picked out a couple of seats in the standard corner, Derek and Sandra will now be enjoying the VIP treatment including champagne reception at stadiummk, a three-course pre-match meal, complimentary programmes and teamsheets and pre and post-match interviews in the Clydesdale Bank Ballroom.
"I can't believe it," Everton fan Derek said. "I've not been to the stadium before, but I've been meaning to come for a long time.
"I went to a game at the National Hockey Stadium and have treated the Dons as my second team since they moved here.
"We were just passing by while we were doing our shopping and thought we'd get some tickets for the last home game of the season - but we had no idea we were the 1000th customers!"
The Dons Box Office on Crown Walk will be selling season tickets for the 2009/10 season until mid-May, with sales already going extremely well.
Applications submitted before Tuesday 5th May will now be subject to the second pricing bracket, still making a considerable saving on season tickets purchased before the start of next season.
Between 1st April and 5th May, supporters will have the opportunity to spread the cost of their season tickets over six months, making the MK Dons experience even more affordable.
