Dons defender Shaun Cummings has been named in the League 1 Team of the Week after his performance in Saturday's 3-0 win at Walsall.

Shaun, 19, was in outstanding form at the Banks Stadium, shoring up the Dons defence on both sides of the back four.

The versatile on-loan Chelsea youngster began the game in his customary right-back role, but was soon switched to the left side following skipper Dean Lewington's withdrawal due to injury.

The Dons went on to comfortably register their fifth straight League 1 win thanks to goals from Jemal Johnson, Ali Gerba and Mark Wright.
