Dons manager Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed that former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo has been training with the Club this week.

But the Italian refused to be drawn on whether the former Norwegian international would be coming out of retirement to play for the Dons.

Flo, a former team-mate of Di Matteo and his assistant Eddie Newton in their days at Stamford Bridge, has been part of first team training for the last three days.

The 35-year-old front man retired from the game in March following a spell with Leeds United, but did train with the Dons last summer while he prepared to play in a recent Masters series.

He has returned to Milton Keynes this week and taken a full part in training as the team prepare for Saturday's trip to Walsall.

Di Matteo said: "Tore's been training with us for a few days, we'll see how he goes, see how he feels and then we'll review it.

"If there's something to say at that point then we'll post it."
