You can hear Mikey's live commentary of MK Dons league games, every Saturday on Horizon Radio, and every game in every competition live on Dons World.

This is a time for change, a time to change who we were, are and can be, a time to change time, a time when change changes and after time changes again . . . go on, you can whoop if you want to.

This week I've got Obama fever, I feel the change; nothing to do with American politics though, this week was the change in attitudes amongst the supporters of the MK Dons.

As Paul Mitchell and I reflected on Dons World after Saturday's win over Tranmere the realisation hit us both, we are most definitely in a promotion race.

Now I may get in trouble for saying that, and Roberto Di Matteo just gave a hint of caution after the game to say he doesn't look at league tables, but I'm excited.

The thing is, I reckon this weekend was when it really hit home for the majority of fans, who in recent weeks both at home and on the road have been amazing in their vocal support.

Make no mistake we are a good team, we play nice football, and currently we have just the beginnings of that priceless promotion word: "Momentum."

There is an awful long way to go, and the winter period will make or break our hopes, but I like to be excited, I like going to games confident we can win, even if the opposition park the proverbial bus in front of their goal.

Some fans have started popping to the press box before games to say hello, and they always ask me my prediction for the game, and I always say the same thing: "I reckon we can win today."

When people discuss our Club they often talk about history, or lack of it. On Tuesday I used a rare day off from work to go down to London, I'm in my mid-twenties and I'd never really done the tourist stuff.

I went to see Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Churchill's War Cabinet Rooms, and, because I'm a history geek, the Imperial War Museum. I'm fascinated by history, but it's rare to be a part of it.

To make history, to be there at moments that'll be classed as history in the future, that's pretty special. I was there at Wembley, I was there at Stockport and then Bradford, and the idea I could be at many more with this Club is what makes the travelling I moaned about last blog worth it.

The Obama election has all the hallmarks of being truly historical, he made history this week after a long campaign.

I like to think we can as well, on a smaller scale granted, but our campaign is just beginning, and the next few months are going to be very interesting indeed.
