MK Dons defender Sean O'Hanlon has been named in the League 1 Team of the Week by the Football League.

O'Hanlon was in typically bullish form at Colchester on Saturday, just edging a giant clash with former Dons striker Clive Platt at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Forging an excellent partnership with new signing Miguel Llera at the heart of the backline, Sean helped create a solid defensive platform from which the Dons could build.

Goals from Aaron Wilbraham and Sam Baldock (2) saw the Dons run out 3-0 winners against the U's and move up to eighth in the League 1 table.
