Milton Keynes Dons FC has today completed the signing of French midfielder Flavien Belson from FC Metz.

Flavien, 21, joins the Dons after the Club agreed to take over his registration from FC Metz for one season, with an option to purchase.

Upon signing at stadiummk this morning (Wednesday), Flavien became Roberto Di Matteo's fourth new capture since taking over as Dons manager.

A technically-gifted defensive midfield player, Flavien is a graduate of the famous FC Metz Academy - a school that has helped develop world stars such as Villarreal midfielder Robert Pires, Manchester United striker Louis Saha and Arsenal front-man Emmanuel Adebayor.

A highly-rated young player and former France Under 18 international, Flavien made 11 appearances for Metz in his early seasons as a professional.

He spent three days on trial with the Dons earlier this summer, and joined up with his new team mates again for training at Woughton on Wednesday morning.

Flavien will sport the number 24 shirt for the Dons this season and will be available for Saturday's League 1 trip to Huddersfield Town.
