Cup Final Weekend got off to an incredible start at stadiummk on Friday night, as Bromham Youth finally beat New City Saints in a penalty shootout to lift the Citizen Under 18 Cup.

The game was the first of eight finals over the course of the weekend as stadiummk plays host to the Milton Keynes Border Counties Youth Football League.

Bromham had raced into a 3-0 lead by half-time but the Saints launched an astonishing fightback after the break.

With the scores tied at 3-3 and no further goals in extra-time, the final was decided on penalties where Bromham came out 7-6 winners.

It was the most dramatic of starts to Cup Final Weekend, which continues on Saturday with the Under 11, Under 12, Under 15 and Under 16 finals.
