INCE LOOKS FOR CROWD LIFT
Dons manager Paul Ince has called on supporters to lift the team into League 1 on Saturday, as the club looks to clinch automatic promotion.
Ince's League 2 leaders will definitely go up if they beat Wycombe Wanderers in the Bucks derby at stadiummk, after Tuesday's 4-1 win over Wrexham took them to the brink.
But Ince told mkdons.com that the Dons faithful need to show more vocal support after a low-key atmosphere at stadiummk against the Welsh side.
He said: "On Tuesday I felt the atmosphere was a bit dull and hence why the players may have been the same.
"The supporters have been different class home and away, against Peterborough they were absolutely fantastic and we'll need them again on Saturday.

"Sometimes I don't think supporters understand what a big lift they can give to the players."
Saturday's clash will give the Dons the chance to seal the very thing they have been fighting in the last nine months to achieve and Ince realises the enviable position his team have put themselves in.
They could have been promoted on Wednesday night had Stockport lost at home to struggling Mansfield, but Ince says his players would much rather keep the job in hand.
He said: "We've been absolutely fantastic this season. We've had a few blips, which most teams do, but if you'd offered me this situation three or four months ago I'd have snatched your hand off.
"People were talking about the Stockport game the other night, but I never wanted it that way.
"If we're going to win promotion I want us to go out and do it ourselves, not rely on other teams."
While performances in the last two games against Lincoln and Wrexham have perhaps not been the stellar showings Dons fans have been used, Ince's team have to be admired for the ruthless consistency that has seen them win eight of their last nine league games.
And it's their thirst for more success to add to last month's Johnstone's Paint Trophy win that Ince says is driving them towards the League 2 title.
He said: "I've not been happy with the last two performances and I've told the lads that. But it's not a bad trait to have when you play badly and scores six goals in two games and walk away with six points - that's the sign of a very good side.
"In training they're bubbling, you can see the focus and the determination in their faces and they want to finish champions.
"They had a taste of that at Wembley, they know what it's like to win and now they want more of it."
