Dons manager Paul Ince says his team need to show the same patience they have shown on the road to overcome teams at stadiummk.

Ince's League 2 table-toppers host Barnet on Saturday as they look to extend their four-game winning run and 11-point lead in the table.

With 10 wins away from home, the Dons have travelled better than anyone else in the country this season, enjoying the freedom that comes with being the visiting side.

Late goals in each of their last three away games have secured maximum points at a crucial point in the season and Ince says his side need to avoid hitting the panic button if they don't make an early breakthrough on their own patch.

He said: "I hope Barnet come here and want to play, I hope they don't come here to stifle us.

"But if they do we have to be patient, we can't go gung ho and try to score in the first minute.

"When we play away from home we are very patient and we sometimes get our goal in the last minute. But sometimes at home we get a bit desperate because we haven't scored after 20 minutes.

"The lads should be used to teams coming here, trying to nick something and protect it now.

"We need to make sure if we get an early chance we take it, then that opens the opposition up and we can go and play.

"I'm looking forward to it because after Tuesday the lads should be bubbling.

"But any team that can go to Swindon in the FA Cup and get a draw like Barnet did must be a decent outfit.

"I know they've just lost Liam Hatch to Peterborough but Jason Puncheon is going to be a massive threat, he's been scoring goals for fun this season.

"It's going to be a hard game, I'm under no illusions about that, but if we play how we should play we'll be ok."
