GUERET TARGETS MORE SHUTOUTS
Goalkeeper Willy Gueret has targeted 20 clean sheets this season to keep the Dons at the top of League Two.
The French stopper registered his fourth shutout in a row in Saturday's win over Morecambe - his fifth in six games as the Dons hit top spot.
And the former Swansea custodian thinks more of the same will allow Paul Ince's flair players to keep winning games.
He said: "I remember when we got promoted with Swansea we kept 21 clean sheets and I think that has to be a target for me.
"I think if we can get 20 clean sheets this season it should be enough. With the quality we have there are goals to come from all over the park so I think 20 will do it."
When Morecambe were able to break through the Dons defence on Saturday, Gueret was equal to everything thrown at him and his understanding with the men in front of him seems to have blossomed in recent weeks.
The Frenchman says he has benefited from having a settled back four in front of him and will be looking for more of the same at Mansfield on Tuesday.
He said: "When you play with the same people every week you know exactly what to expect, you know what each of them is capable of and you it becomes a relationship. At the moment it is working very well.
"We've been working very hard in the last four games and I think Saturday was one of the toughest games we have had this season.
"The boys have been defending well and making games easy for me so hopefully it will carry on like that on Tuesday."
