REACTION: CHARLTON 5 MK DONS 1
Dons manager Paul Ince: "We had two blatant penalties in the first half. One with Alby that was handled off the line, which is a sending off, and another where Powelly's gone to head it, Dailly flicks it with his hand and it should be another penalty.
"We've got to take positives out of competing with a very good Charlton side for 60 minutes, but the game was changed by the officials.
"Once Charlton got the third goal we were never going to win the game, our heads went down, we felt a bit hard done by."
FULL-TIME: CHARLTON 5 MK DONS 1
A heavy defeat for the men from MK, but one that didn't totally reflect a game that was more even than the scoreline suggests.
Aaron Wilbraham gave the Dons the lead after 10 minutes before goals from David Mooney and Nicky Bailey sent Charlton into the break leading.
Dons were just getting the upper hand in the second half when Lloyd Sam converted a Deon Burton pass to make it three.
Sam Sodje's header and Burton's finish gave the scoreline some gloss and put three points between Charlton in second and the Dons in fourth, with Colchester moving third.
All the reaction to come.

Darren Powell and Mathias Doumbe compete. |
90+6mins - It's all got a bit tasty out there as Puncheon trips McKenzie in the centre-circle and Powell clashes with the Addicks striker as the whistle goes. McKenzie grips Powell around the neck as they both lie on the turf and every outfield player wades in. Booking for Powell and McKenzie.
90+3mins - Dons will want this over with as soon as possible, but they're being made to wait as Sodje is in need of some treatment inside their penalty area. 'Always look on the bright side of life' is the latest song to come from the away end.
90+1mins - Woodards flies into Sam from behind and despite getting a foot on the ball, it's a foul and a booking. Disappointing afternoon isn't getting any better, but the Dons fans continue to sing. They've been fantastic this afternoon, still behind their team despite being four goals behind.
90mins - Dons have braced themselves in the final few minutes but remain in danger as McCracken's clearance from a Bailey corner breaks for Basey and his firm drive flies just over. Four minutes to be added.
83mins - Charlton so close to adding a sixth as Bailey whips another set-piece in from the left flank and a Sodje comes through a crowd of bodies to turn a header just wide. Dons make a change with Gobern replaced by Jabo Ibehre. Attendance of 17,188.
81mins - Leven protests a little too strongly after Doumbe is whistled for climbing on Racon. A booking for the former Rangers midfielder.
77mins - Charlton take both their strikers off with the game won, Burton and Mooney replaced by Leon McKenzie and debutant Akpo Sodje. Damage limitation for the Dons now.
76mins - GOAL! CHARLTON 5 MK DONS 1 - DEON BURTON
It's getting worse for the Dons as a diagonal ball is played over the head of Woodards, Sam wins it in the air and Burton skips through to lob home despite a strong hand from Gueret. It's a rout at The Valley, but the Dons will feel hard done by.
74mins - Change for the Dons as Davis comes off to be replaced by Danny Woodards. A first appearance in nine weeks for the former Crewe defender, but his side are in danger of being blown away here.
73mins - GOAL! CHARLTON 4 MK DONS 1 - SAM SODJE
Fourth goal for Charlton but the Dons really don't deserve this. Bailey's corner from the right is met with a thumping header from Sodje and Gueret has no chance as the ball flies into his net.
71mins - Charlton fans all around think they've got a fourth as another driven free-kick into the box from Bailey is turned towards goal by the stretching Sam. Gueret is well behind it though and saves comfortably on his line.
69mins - Dons make their first change, with Jemal Johnson adding some fresh legs to the left flank in place of Chadwick. Twenty minutes to get back into this.
68mins - Paul Ince waves his arms in disbelief as Baldock controls a long kick from Gueret, is chopped to the ground by Sodje on the edge of the box and doesn't get a free-kick. Looked a certain foul from here.
65mins - GOAL! CHARLTON 3 MK DONS 1 - LLOYD SAM
Hammer blow to the Dons' hopes today as Sam cements Charlton's lead against the run of play. Burton controls a long ball into the box before passing for the Addicks winger, who steps inside a challenge before finding the far corner from just inside the area. Dons will be gutted with that, they were just starting to get on top.
64mins - That was nearly the moment for the Dons, who are growing into this game and controlling longer spells. Doumbe's ball into the box is headed down by Sodje and Baldock scuffs a half-volley just wide. Basey has gone to left-back, with Youga moving to right-back.
63mins - Charlton to make a change and Richardson is the man to make way. It means an appearance for Grant Basey, who should slot straight in at right-back as Richardson heads for the bench.
58mins - Puncheon works a yard down the left to hit a deflected shot at Ikeme, but Charlton have a problem. Richardson has gone down in the box having only passed a late fitness test to play this afternoon. He's back on his feet, but he looks a little unsteady.
55mins - Decent work between Chadwick and Baldock down the left gives the Dons good possession on the edge of the box. Leven tries a backheel for Puncheon to hit, but Semedo reads it perfectly and breaks up the attack.
51mins - Painful one for Chadwick, who blocks a clearance from Richardson down the Dons left and takes the ball cleanly between the legs. Never a nice one, but Chadwick is up and back in the action without the need for treatment.
47mins - Good work from Gobern in the challenge to win the ball off Youga and Baldock is able to send Chadwick into space down the right. The pull back is aimed for Baldock, but it's cut out by Semedo and cleared.
4.07pm - SECOND HALF KICKS OFF
Charlton get the game restarted holding a 2-1 lead. Dons are now attacking the end housing their supporters.
HALF-TIME: CHARLTON 2 MK DONS 1
Charlton take a narrow lead into the break after a breathless first half, but the Dons will have plenty to build on the second period.
They took the lead after 10 minutes when Aaron Wilbraham caught out 'keeper Carl Ikeme with a speculative shot from distance, and could have been two up had Kelly Youga not superbly cleared off the line from the same man.
Charlton hit back within three minutes though - David Mooney slotting home after Nicky Bailey's free-kick had been knocked down.
And Bailey himself gave the Addicks the lead when he headed in a Lloyd Sam cross on 21 minutes.
Since then Bailey has hit the bar, Wilbraham has headed just wide the the Dons had a massive shout for a penalty.
You won't want to miss the second half.

Dons players celebrate Aaron Wilbraham's opener. |
HALF-TIME: CHARLTON 2 MK DONS 1
45+4mins - An injury to Sodje means we're still playing and Gueret makes another excellent save from Burton, who rose to meet another high free-kick from Bailey.
45mins - Two minutes to be added at the end of a brilliant first half. Dons will be far from displeased with their first half showing, having put Charlton on the back foot on several occasions. They'll have the wind behind them in the second half, albeit a swirling one.
39mins - Burton's delightful backheel on the edge of the box allows Mooney to get round Powell. Doumbe's coming across to cover but Mooney gets caught in two minds, in the end neither shooting or squaring for Racon to his left and the ball goes behind.
37mins - Gueret's kick downfield is won by Baldock ahead of Sodje, Wilbraham nudges it between two defenders before curling for the far post from 15 yards but Ikeme denies him with a full-stretch save.
33mins - Wonderful save from Gueret to keep the Dons within a goal as Sam provides another dangerous cross from the right, Powell misses it and it deflects off the legs of Doumbe. Gueret blocks from point-blank range and Mooney misses out of the pieces.
30mins - Dons have played some terrific stuff in this first half and they're at it again as Davis' pass is dummied brilliantly by Chadwick and Leven sends a first-time return into Davis down the left. He mis-reads the run of the ball though and Charlton can clear.
27mins - More goalmouth action as Bailey hoists another free-kick from halfway inside the Dons half into the box, the wind takes it out of Gueret's reach and the ball bounces straight off the crossbar. What a start to this game.
25mins - Dons players surround the referee appealing for a penalty as Puncheon's corner from the right is taken off the head of Powell by a stray arm in red. Nothing given and Dons players are left fuming.
24mins - First booking for the home side as Sam has his name taken for a trip on Chadwick.
23mins - Dons so close to levelling things once more as Charlton struggle to clear their lines and Gobern chips a lovely ball to the far post from the right. Wilbraham seems to lose the ball in flight though and heads wide.
21mins - GOAL! CHARLTON 2 MK DONS 1 - NICKY BAILEY
Richardson spots space in behind the Dons defence down the right, dropping the ball deep for Sam to chase. The Addicks winger reaches it at the deadball line, firing across the the six-yard box where Burton gets a flick and Bailey heads in from close range.
20mins - First mini-break from Baldock after a neat exchange with Chadwick, but Richardson gets a foot in before Baldock can pull the trigger. Breaks for Leven to hit but his shot is blocked by Sodje.
18mins - Mooney's in for some stick as he races in behind with the flag up and then tumbles theatrically as he tries to go round Gueret. The Dons fans cry 'cheat' but nothing will be done as the whistle had already gone for offside.
16mins - Bit of Charlton pressure to follow the goal - the home side being far from subtle with their free-kicks launched high into the Dons box. Powell makes a big header to clear Bailey's corner and gets a free-kick.
13mins - GOAL! CHARLTON 1 MK DONS 1 - DAVID MOONEY
It's all going on here as Charlton draw level within three minutes. Bailey hoists a high free-kick into the Dons box, it's scrappy second ball off McCracken that bounces to Mooney and he makes no mistake from six yards - drilling under Gueret to equalise.
12mins - So close to a second there! Chadwick teases his way down the left flank before drilling low across the box. Wilbraham is unmarked beyond the far post, shoots goalwards and Youga somehow clears off the line! Dons appeal for a goal but it's not given.
10mins - GOAL! CHARLTON 0 MK DONS 1 - AARON WILBRAHAM
What a start for the Dons as Wilbraham gives them the lead at the end of their first decent attacking spell. After Chadwick had mis-kicked following good work from Gobern down the right, Dons keep the pressure on with the ball breaking for Wilbraham left of centre. Conditions in mind, he tries a speculative left-foot shot from 25 yards that swirls over Ikeme and into the net.
6mins - Early booking and it's for Sol Davis, who lunges in a touch recklessly on Sam down the Charlton right. He appeals that it's his first foul, but Sam could have been away and referee Keith Hill reaches for his notebook.
4mins - The wind is already having an impact on proceedings, with both sets of players unsure of the ball in the air in the swirling conditions. Both sides have started with positive-looking 4-4-2 formations, which should make for entertaining stuff.
3.02pm - KICK-OFF
We're underway at The Valley, the Dons kicking off in gold shirts, black shorts and black socks, defending the end housing their supporters in the first half. Charlton are in red shirts, white shorts and white socks.
2.58pm - Easy to forget that this was a Premier League ground a few short years ago, but a look around at the stands tells a much bigger story. It's a great ovation that greets the arrival of the teams, Aaron Wilbraham sprinting beyond the officials, momentarily forgetting his captain's duties before being called back by a chuckling Willy Gueret.
Terrific support from Milton Keynes this afternoon, with a good 1,000 Dons fans behind the goal to our right. Peter Leven stands in quiet reflection for a moment, kisses his hands before touching the turf and looking up to the heavens in a private tribute.
2.50pm - While the rain has subsided for the time being, the strong wind is still very much blowing through the Valley, blowing autumn leaves onto the pitch from outside the ground as the players complete their warm-ups. You just hope the wind doesn't spoil what should be a cracking game this afternoon between two sides that like to play football.
Interesting point on the Dons bench - it doesn't contain a goalkeeper as Stuart Searle has picked up a knock. Injury of mis-behaviour from Willy Gueret could cause them a large problem.
2.45pm - TEAM NEWS - The big question on everyone's mind this week has been whether Ince will go with the positivity and pace of Sam Baldock in attack or revert to the 4-5-1 formation he has favoured away from home in the past. Baldock's two goals against Northampton on Tuesday were enough to convince Ince that he was the man to step in for Jermaine Easter, who is away on international duty, and the young striker indeed partners Aaron Wilbraham in attack.
With Dean Lewington still suspended, Sol Davis continues at left-back while Peter Leven and Mathias Doumbe come in for Mark Carrington and Luke Howell.
Five changes for Charlton following their JPT exit at Southampton - Richardson, Bailey, Racon, Sodje and Burton all in. Llera, Shelvey, Basey, Wagstaff and Spring all out.

Sam Baldock's double in midweek have earned him a starting place against Charlton. |
2.40pm - It's a miserable, wet, windy day that greets the Dons in south east London as they ready themselves for what is unquestionably the domestic game of the weekend against Charlton.
With no Premier League or Championship games due to international fixtures, League 1 takes centre stage, with its second and third placed sides in the leading roles at The Valley. Charlton have not lost here for eight months, but having been beaten in each of their last three games on their travels, that run could be under threat from a Dons side very much in form.
Paul Ince's men have won eight of their last nine games in all competitions and showed flashes of finding their peak in the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Northampton. Another win today would see them replace the Addicks in the automatic promotion spots, an achievement that would certainly underline their credentials as a genuine challenger in the division.
It's the game everyone's been talking about, and we'll bring you every kick of it here on Clockwatch and on MK Dons Player from 3.00pm.
