Izale McLeod hit a sensational double as MK Dons ran out easy winners against nine-man Stockport.
The Dons striker cracked an unbelievable acrobatic opener on 61 minutes before confirming the three points with a well-taken second on 75.
The Hatters hardly broke into Dons territory all night and their frustration was compounded as the dismissals of Ashley Williams and Robert Clare saw them reduced to nine men in the second half.
Returning from a one match suspension, McLeod was straight into the action, feeding a marauding Lloyd Dyer who was eventually crowded by three Hatters defenders.
The two boys from Aston seemed on the same wavelength as Dyer repaid the compliment, first by laying off for McLeod to shoot just over from distance and then playing a 40-yard one-two that the Dons top-scorer just failed to get on the end of.

Moved from midfield back into a striking position, Aaron Wilbraham came close twice in the half, placing a volley wide from a good position from Paul Butler's knock-down before slicing just wide from McLeod's lay-off.
The visitor's only real sight of the Dons goal in the first half was only half of their own making as Michael Rose swept in a pacy ball from the left that deflected dangerously wide off Dean Lewington.
Switching wings constantly with McGovern in an attempt to find some variation, Dyer was still the livewire he had been from the first minute. Having done precisely the opposite from the left earlier in the half and seen his shot beaten away by Spencer, he drove in off the right on the stroke of half time to drill a shot just over the crossbar.
Martin Allen's side proved the wind had little to do with their first-half onslaught as they picked up where they left off facing the gale after half time. They pressed the Hatters back, forcing set piece after set piece before McLeod broke the deadlock with a moment of absolute inspiration just after the hour mark.
Andrews and McGovern looked to have wasted a free-kick in a good position as the Dons skipper was put under pressure by the wall and when he stood the ball up to the far post the danger looked minimal. But when Robert Clare and Ashley Williams went for the same ball in the air, it popped up to McLeod. Pivoting into position and taking flight, the Dons number 10 hit a quite stunning bicycle kick into the top corner from 12 yards as Spencer clutched thin air.
The job was made rather easier on 68 minutes as again McLeod ran riot in the Stockport defence. Latching onto Wilbraham's flick, he raced in on goal only to be pulled down by Ashley Williams on the edge of the box. It wasn't quite a penalty but their was no doubting Williams' fate - an early bath despite his pleas for mercy.
Stockport attacks were non-existent by this point and when Wilbraham slid Edds' shot just wide, the second goal looked inevitable.
It duly came with 15 minutes to go, McLeod bursting into the box after great work from Drissa Diallo on the right. He slipped the ball cleverly through and McLeod was composed enough to cooly lift the ball over Spencer as he raced out of goal.
It was then a matter of how many the rampant Dons would get, but rather than another goal, we saw another red card, as Clare picked up a second booking for deliberate handball.
