Dons manager Karl Robinson admits there's a lot he can learn from Blackpool boss Ian Holloway on Tuesday night.
But his primary focus will be to help his team knock the Premier League Seasiders out of the Carling Cup.
Robbo's Dons go into Tuesday's second round encounter as underdogs against Holloway's Tangerines, who won promotion to the top flight in May through the Championship play-offs.
It was a fairytale journey that captured English football, as Blackpool ended their 39-year exile from the top division on a minimal budget, thanks in no small part to the unique motivational and coaching prowess of their eccentric manager.
Robinson, a freshman to the managerial circuit and ever a student of the game, is looking forward to sharing a post-match drink which the colourful Bristolian.
But he'll hope to do so having caused an upset on the pitch and booked a place in Saturday's third round draw.
He told MK Dons Player: "I've never met Ian Holloway, but I know Kevin Gallen very well and he always spoke very highly of him, that he was an excellent motivator that said the right things to his players at the right time.
"I'll have questions galore for him after the game. I want to know what he did to change things at Blackpool because what he's done there is nothing short of a miracle.
"But as much as I'm looking forward to it, first and foremost I want to knock him out of the cup. We've prepared thoroughly for the game, including penalties if they're needed and I'm sure it'll be a very exciting game between two teams looking to win.

Ian Holloway guided Blackpool to the top flight for the first time in 39 years. |
"They're an exciting club to come up against. They've been through an awful lot in the last two or three years and they're role models for the rest of us because they've shown you don't have to go and spend millions to get out of these leagues."
With the opportunity to slay a Premier League giant and advance in a potentially lucrative competition, Robinson is likely to play his strongest possible team at stadiummk on Tuesday night. It remains to be seen whether Blackpool, hammered at Arsenal at the weekend and set for an important home game against Fulham this Saturday, will do the same.
But should Holloway opt to stick with big guns like Charlie Adam, Marlon Harewood and Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Robinson says his players should enjoy the chance to measure themselves against top flight opposition.
He said: "Our players have got to relish the opportunity of playing against these big hitters and learn from it. It's a great opportunity to bounce back from a poor result on Saturday and we've got to enjoy it because getting through the round would bring some good revenue to this Football Club.
"Charlie Adam is a threat, wherever he plays. He may play in the front three, he may stay in the middle three and he gets into holes that make him very difficult to pick up. We need to counter-act that because, with the ability he's got, he could make something happen.
"We've got to box clever throughout the ninety minutes, and beyond if necessary, nullify their chances and take ours when they come along."
Tickets for Tuesday night's game are on sale from the MK Dons Online Ticket Service and the MK Dons Box Office at stadiummk.
