England's bid to host the 2018 World Cup enters its final stage this week as an all important Bid Book is delivered to FIFA in Zurich, with copies coming to all Candidate Host Cities including Milton Keynes.

The final book contains full details of England's plan to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ matches plus proposed training camps and fan parks. Leaving Wembley Stadium today (Monday), the book will head to Zurich in order to be handed to FIFA President Sepp Blatter on Friday 14th May.
To coincide with the books arrival in Zurich, each Candidate Host City will take delivery of a copy of the final bid document.
Dr Ann Limb, Chair of the Milton Keynes 2018 Board and MK Dons Chairman, Pete Winkelman will be on hand to receive the Bid Book when it arrives at stadiummk on Friday morning. They will be joined by the Dons mascots Donny and Mooie and children for the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust.
Speaking about the event Dr Ann Limb said, "We are very excited to receive a copy of England's final 2018 Bid Book. This is now the final stage in the process and puts us one step closer to hosting the World Cup Finals. All we need to do now is enjoy this summer's games, get behind England and cross our fingers!"
The successful host Country for the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ will be announced by FIFA in December.
