MK Dons missed out on a second Wembley appearance in three years as Southampton won the Area Final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Trailing 1-0 from the first leg, the Dons fell further behind through Rickie Lambert's opener and a Danny Woodards own goal. Mark Randall pulled a goal back, but Adam Lallana's late goal secured the Saints' progress.
