RDM: ONLY TOGETHER CAN WE ACHIEVE
"Individually you can have a great day, but only together can you achieve anything in the long term."
That was the message from Dons manager Roberto Di Matteo, who was a guest speaker at the Milton Keynes & North Bucks Chamber of Commerce Lunch at stadiummk on Wednesday.
Hosted in the Clydesdale Bank Ballroom, the event gave around 150 of the city's top business representatives the chance to break bread with the Dons' Italian manager along with Chairman Pete Winkelman and several of the Club's directors.
After a welcome message from Chamber Chief Executive Rita Speada and MK Dons Head of Partnerships James Parkinson, guests were treated to a delicious three-course meal prepared by the talented MK Dons catering staff.
James then took up the mic to introduce Chairman Pete, who addressed matters such as the Club's excellent start to the season and how its many commercial partners had become part of the success.

James then brought Robby into the hotseat for a chat about his first few months in management, how he's enjoying life in Milton Keynes and how past business ventures have influenced his management style.
Speaking after the event, Pete said: "The sporting lunch was a great occasion and a wonderful opportunity for the business community to hear some thoughtful insight from Robby.
"It was extremely pleasing to see not only some of the Club's sponsors, but many new faces too, networking together in our friendly, engaging surroundings.
"It's another example of how football can bring people together and shows the game's power to build partnerships."
