MK Dons Under-18s slipped to a narrow 2-1 defeat against Premier League Fulham at Woughton on the Green on Saturday.

Trailing 1-0 at half-time, the young Dons went further behind on 63 minutes, but responded well to pull a goal back almost immediately - George Williams the scorer from an Igor Coronado free-kick.

Academy Director Mike Dove said: "It was a disappointing outcome because we had good chances to take the lead in the first half.

"We didn't work with the necessary intelligence to win the game."
