Mike Dove's side returned to winning ways with a confident performance in the West Country.
Saturday's win came off the back of the 4-0 FA Youth Cup win at home to Farnborough Town, with the Dons currently showing a rich vein of form.
The visitors made the better start, with a succession of set-pieces in the opening 10 minutes which had Bristol firmly on the back foot, but they defended well to keep the scores level.
The Dons then had a spell where they seemed to lose their composure on a surface made slippy by constant rain.
But they came through the period of Bristol dominance, and took the lead on 39 minutes when Sam Baldock robbed the Robins centre half of possession, and hit a sweet left footed shot from just inside the box which found the back of the net.
Four minutes later and it was nearly 2-0 when Baldock again won the ball of the Bristol defence and sent a 20-yard shot which flew just wide.
On the stroke of half time the Dons had another chance when Ross Morley's free-kick was headed just over the bar by Kieran Murphy.
The second half continued in the same vein, Dean Lovegrove having a shot well saved on 65 minutes. Dove then made a reshuffle with 15 minutes left, Adam Kent coming on for Dean Lovegrove.
And on 79 minutes the lead was doubled, Ross Morley's corner played to Tom Battams, who slid a pass for Sam Page, and a rifled effort from the edge of the box screamed into the goal.
At the other end Dons keeper Robert Webb showed his concentration levels were good when he produced a great save to tip a goal-bound shot over the bar on 87 minutes.
