MIKE MADE UP WITH U18 WIN

Academy Director Mike Dove was understandably jubilant after his Under 18 boys recorded their first victory of the season with a hard fought 2-0 victory over Bristol City on Saturday.
A second goal in as many games from lone striker Daniel Delderfield and a first of the season for Charlie Collins saw the Dons emerge victorious from a windswept Woughton.
Mike spoke proudly minutes after the final whistle, saying that there were countless positives to take from the game and that this was weeks of hard work, finally culminating in a deserved win.
He said: "I say every weekend that this is about development and you have seen it here today. Other weeks we have played brilliantly and perhaps not got the result we deserve, but today they battled hard and fully merit that win."
"The wind was difficult in the second half and they changed their shape moving to three up front but the boys at the back were superb and the whole team showed great character here and I'm very proud of them today"
"We have used ProZone with the lads assessing where we have gone wrong in the past and we worked this week on being more positive in the final third, and it showed with two good goals."
The next game for Dove's young men will be on the road, away to Watford this coming Saturday.
