ON-A-ROLL U18'S BEAT SPURS
Mike Dove's Under-18 side notched up their second win in as many weeks with a superb 2-0 win at Tottenham on Saturday.
After returning from a loan spell with Conference North side Kettering Town, full-back Sam Collins got the ball rolling will a rasping 25-yard free-kick after 16 minutes.
And after playing with great poise and determination against their Premiership Academy opponents, the Dons sealed the three points with the second from striker Sam Baldock 12 minutes from time.
It was a confidence boosting win over a Tottenham side taken by Academy Director John McDermott in the absence of regular Under 18 manager Alex Inglethorpe, who took the first team along with Clive Allen at the weekend following Martin Jol's departure.
The win comes just seven days after Dove's youngsters turned over league-leaders Aston Villa at Woughton and is there second win at Spurs in as many seasons after an incredible 6-2 win last term.
Mike was without midfielder Liam Kelly for the game as he is away on international duty with Scotland Under 18s.
