Dons manager Paul Ince was an interested onlooker as teenage prodigy Sam Baldock made his return in the Under 18's 4-3 defeat to Leicester on Saturday.

Baldock was on target in his first game back after a knee injury as the Premier League Academy champions escaped Woughton with all three points despite an almighty scare.

The impressive Foxes started the game in unbelievable fashion, putting the home side to the sword with three goals in the opening 11 minutes before the Dons hit back through Dan Powell before half-time.

Leicester regained their three-goal advantage after the break but late goals from Powell and then Baldock made for a grandstand finale.

Baldock played the full 90 minutes in his first game since the pre-season friendly at Bedford Town.

Mike Dove's reaction to the result will be available on mkdons.com soon.
