An MK Dons XI will face Wolverton Town in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday 25th July with kick-off set for 7.30pm.
Wolverton Town FC have only recently moved to their new ground and this game will provide an added financial boost to a club that is keen to return to its glory days.
The game, which will predominantly see the Dons field their Under-18s side, was suggested by Mark Lancaster MP for Milton Keynes North and the Dons were more than happy to arrange the fixture.
MP Lancaster is glad the fixture is going ahead. Speaking to mkdons.com he said: "MK Dons are a pillar in our community and it's great to see them giving something back.
"After all the hard work put in at Wolverton to build the new social club, I am hopeful this will provide an opportunity to raise vital funds for Wolverton Town FC. This could be the platform they need to revitalise the interest in grassroots football."
With the first team away on their pre-season tour to Dublin, the game will provide an opportunity for the Dons youngsters to impress against the South Midlands League side.
Tickets will be on sale on the gate and are priced as follows:
Adult - £2
Child - £1
Family (2 adults and 2 children) - £5
An MK Dons XI will also travel to Ampthill on Tuesday 17th July; kick-off is at 7.45pm.
