Statement: Rochdale

28 April 2015

The Club can confirm that an investigation is taking place in conjunction with the authorities regarding an incident in the Milton Keynes Dons supporters’ seating section during the Sky Bet League 1 fixture at Rochdale on Saturday 25th April.

A pyrotechnic was used in the away end at Spotland, which is a breach of Football League ground regulations and is a criminal offence. This could result in a club and police banning order for three years, as well as posing a physical risk to other supporters which included children.

If anyone has any information, please contact Thames Valley Police on 101 for the attention of PC Jimmy O’Brien, stadiummk liaison officer.

Mr O’Brien said: “MK Dons and its fans have a first-class reputation for their behaviour up and down the country and we don’t want a very small minority spoiling that.”
