A young Dons side fell to a 2-1 friendly defeat at the hands of Chesham United on Monday evening.

The Dons continued to compete with the Generals as changes began to be made, with Callum Brittain, Connor Furlong, Sam Nombe and Kevin Owusu all entering the fray in the latter stages and gaining valuable experience in the process.
But it was the hosts who took the lead in the 54th minute when Youngs made the most of a mistake at the back and chipped Cropper.
The former Bayern Munich man wasn’t far away from scoring himself on 40 minutes when he cut in dangerously from the left and sent a low drive just past the post.
Giorgio Rasulo and Ben Tilney both came close to handing the Dons the lead once again around the half-hour mark – the former curling just over and the latter being denied by Shane Gore following some nice interchange with the lively Jennings.
Cody Cropper produced a fine stop to save Dave Pearce’s fierce effort from 15 yards as the midway point of the first-half approached.
Instead of 2-0, it was 1-1 three minutes later with Little converting from the penalty spot after Joe Steele had brought down Ryan Blake in the box.
Comfortable in possession, the Dons could have gone further ahead on the quarter-hour mark but Tom Hitchcock was denied after racing on to a perfect through-ball from Jennings.
The men from MK1 went ahead as early as the third minute – Dale Jennings going on a fine mazy run and playing in Tshimanga, who twisted his marker inside and out before firing home via a deflection.
Kabongo Tshimanga opened the scoring early on but goals from Toby Little and Sam Youngs saw the hosts run out winners.
