The Dons took part in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Northampton Town on Monday afternoon.
Keith Andrews took charge of the side, which included the likes of Tom Flanagan, Joe Walsh, Danny Green, Mark Randall and Tom Hitchcock.
Several of the Dons’ young players also featured from start, namely Charlie Burns, Harry Hickford, Giorgio Rasulo and Ben Tilney.
Andrews’ side fell behind inside the first five minutes from a corner before the Cobblers doubled their lead on the brink of half-time.
The men from MK1 did pull a goal back courtesy of a trialist but despite going close late on through substitute Kabongo Tshimanga, they couldn’t fully overturn the deficit.
