Visitors to stadiummk will notice a host of changes have taken place over the summer months as MK1 edges ever closer to completion.
stadiummk is still ‘under construction’ with ongoing building work taking place on the MK1 Shopping Park, stadium and the car parking around the site.
mkdons.com has a round-up of what to expect during your matchday experience with the Dons.
Car parking -
This evening visitors to stadiummk are asked to take extra care around the car park which has changed significantly since the end of last season with kerbs and marked-up parking bays now in place.
Some of the usual car parking areas are currently closed meaning some season ticket permit holders will be relocated on a temporary basis until mid-September. There is plenty of casual parking available in the north east corner of the stadium priced at £7. Spectators wishing to pay on the day should access the stadium from Saxon Street. The entrance from Grafton Street will be for permit holders only.
Shuttle Bus -
The shuttle bus will operate both before and after game. Pick up points are from both Bletchley and Milton Keynes Railway Stations (bus stop Z6) plus JD Wetherspoon on Midsummer Boulevard and MK College on Chaffron Way, where free parking is available. The fare is £1.50 one way or £2 return. Buses run every 20 minutes from 17.50 and depart stadium every 30 minutes from final whistle – last bus 23.15.
Gate 5 -
Due to construction works around the stadium Gate 5 will be closed pre and post match. Gates 4,6 and 7 are all open and Gate 2 for away supporters. Please take extra special care when entering and leaving the stadium due to a number of uneven surfaces and raised kerbs.
Season Ticket Help point -
A season ticket help point will be situated outside the Box office pre and post match where you can get all the information on purchasing a season ticket plus the chance to sign up for a season ticket stadium preview tour on 13 August. The Information Point by Gate 4 will also be open selling season and match tickets plus programmes Goal-don Goal Tickets and merchandise.
Goaldon Goal -
Our Goal-Don Goal tickets are on sale for both friendlies. There are three chances to win prizes including the first goal jackpot of £250!
Our big red dot summer magazine makes its return and the popular glossy A4 magazine is bigger and better than ever before. It is packed full of interviews, articles previewing the season ahead and the two teams travelling to stadiummk for our friendlies. The big red dot is on sale from the Club Superstore, Box Office, information point by gate 4 and all programme sellers priced £3.50.
Four new scoreboards will be installed in the autumn with the first installation expected in September. We appreciate your patience for the first few games of the season while we wait for the supporting steel frameworks to be completed.
red dot bar -
The supporters’ bar situated adjacent to the Hotel Reception, red dot bar is the perfect place to be pre and post-match. The bar is open to both home and away supporters.
