MK Dons Ladies have appointed James Honeyman as their new manager, following the departure of Tony O'Neill.
Honeyman has been with the Club for four years and recently managed the Dons' Under-17s Girls side where he worked with the likes of Abbie Roberts, Amelia Hazard and Taylor Duffy, who have all represented England at some level.
The B-License coach, who is an A-License candidate, will be assisted in his new role by Hannah Pattinson.
He told mkdons.com: "I'm very excited to begin my role as the Ladies' first-team manager - it's a good project for me.
"We have a good squad already and Tony did a great job here but we have the potential to be even better."
He continued: "There will be 12 players who I've worked with in the Under-17s that will be making the step up this season but I also know a lot of the current squad as I've worked in and around the team before."
Former boss O'Neill departs the Dons after leading the Ladies side to second place in Premier League South East Division One last season - their highest-ever league finish. He also guided the Ladies to back-to-back Berks and Bucks County Cup success.
O'Neill will stay involved with the Club by working with the Under-17s Regional Talent Club goalkeepers.
The Club would like to thank Tony for his fantastic contribution during his time as first-team manager.
MK Dons Ladies will be holding open trials next month as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
