MK Dons Ladies recorded their first three points since opening day last Sunday, with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Enfield Town.
John Dyer’s side were without a win in five heading into the game but did enough to put an end to that run this past weekend against an Enfield outfit who now sit just a point above the Dons in the table.
After a tight first half which ended goalless, the Dons took the lead from a corner courtesy of Jess Cutting’s (pictured) second goal of the season before Charly Wright doubled the advantage with a fine left-footed finish.
Enfield did pull a goal back on 75 minutes to set up a nervy finish but Dyer’s Ladies held on for an important three points, ahead of their trip to Cambridge next Sunday.
