Fun Day draws in biggest league crowd

24 November 2014

The Dons played in front of their highest league crowd of the season on Saturday, with 12,007 inside stadiummk for the 1-0 victory over Port Vale.

The Family Fun Day clash brought in just under 2,000 more supporters than the visit of Coventry City earlier this season and provided the fourth highest crowd in Sky Bet League 1 this past weekend.

It was also the highest Family Fun Day attendance since the 1-0 win over Leyton Orient back in March 2010 which drew in a crowd of over 14,000.

Fans that turned out got to enjoy a host of activities, including Santa’s Grotto, the Digger Derby and football skill sessions inside the ArenaMK, before watching Karl Robinson’s side earn their third straight victory thanks to a Carl Baker goal.

The Dons are back in action at stadiummk on Tuesday evening when they host Rochdale and fans can buy two tickets to this game for just £25 and receive a FREE pie and a pint.

To purchase tickets visit the Box Office at stadiummk or the kiosk at thecentre:mk, call 01908 622900 or email boxoffice@mkdons.com.
