Two MK Dons players were named in BBC Late Kick Off East’s Team of the Season on Monday night.
Captain Dean Lewington and midfielder Ben Reeves were among the 11 best players of 2013/14 according to Late Kick Off pundit Paul McVeigh, who announced his team of the season in last night’s show.
Lewington made 49 appearances for the Dons this season, including his 500th for the Club away at Rotherham United last month. Reeves, meanwhile, scored 11 goals in 35 games and walked away from the Club’s Player of the Year ceremony with four awards.
Other players who featured in LKO’s team included Peterborough United pair Tommy Rowe and Britt Assombalonga, Colchester United’s Freddie Sears and Luke Freeman of Stevenage.
