The Dons begin their seven-day training camp in Dublin on Saturday, with the countdown to the first set of friendlies well and truly on!
Karl Robinson’s side flew out to the Irish capital on Friday afternoon to continue the intense fitness work which they started at Woughton on the Green earlier this week.
The squad will train for six of the next seven days in preparation for their first three friendlies of the summer, all of which take place in Ireland.
Robinson’s men will face St. James’s Gate on Monday 13th July and SSE Airtricity Premier League side Limerick on Tuesday 14th before finishing their trip with a match against League of Ireland First Division outfit Cabinteely on the Wednesday.
They will then return home for their first friendlies on home soil – a local double-header against Newport Pagnell Town and Buckingham Athletic on Saturday 18th.
