Defender signs on dotted line

15 June 2015

Centre-back Harry Hickford has signed a new two-year contract which will keep him at stadiummk until the summer of 2017.

Hickford, who was a season ticket holder at the National Hockey Stadium, has been with the Club since the age of 10 and has risen through the Academy into the first-team set-up.

The 2014/15 campaign was a first as a professional for the 18-year-old, who impressed during a loan spell at Conference South side Chelmsford City.

Milton-Keynes born Hickford, who has been working hard during the off-season, will be reunited with his fellow first-teamers later this month as pre-season gets underway.

“I’m over the moon to be staying,” he told MK Dons Player. “Last year was the biggest I’ve had at the Club and it will stand me in good stead going forward.

“The first-team environment really made me grow up and I feel like I matured a lot last year, as well as learning a lot from the experienced players within the squad.

“I can’t wait to get going again now.”

An interview with Harry will be available to view on MK Dons Player shortly.
