Daniel desperate for response

20 April 2014

Daniel Powell says the players are eager to put their right their home form and reward the MK Dons faithful for their loyal support.

The men from MK1, who were beaten 1-0 by Port Vale on Good Friday, take on a Brentford side tomorrow afternoon that have already secured their promotion to the Sky Bet Championship with three games still to play.

But Powell insists the team are keen to spoil the Bees’ party by putting an end to a run of six straight home games without a victory.

Speaking to MK Dons Player after the Vale defeat, the 22-year-old said: “We’ve not been too good at home of late. With Brentford going up it might be a good thing or a bad thing, we don’t know. We’ll definitely be looking to match them when they come to stadiummk.

“The fans have been loyal, the whole time I’ve been here. We really need to start getting our home form back on track and that starts on Monday against Brentford. The fans are always behind us and so we just want to work hard and put it right for them.”
