Karl Robinson felt his side were hard done by after the reverse to Derby County.

The Dons dominated the side from Derbyshire during the Saturday lunchtime clash at stadiummk and looked on course to secure at least a point when Josh Murphy cancelled out Bradley Johnson’s opener.

However, two late goals from Thomas Ince and former England international Darren Bent saw the men from MK1 walk away from the clash empty-handed – much to the dismay of manager Robinson.

“We didn’t deserve to lose at all,” the Liverpudlian told MK Dons PlayerHD. “For 70 minutes we were tremendous and I think everybody has seen that we are a good side that will stick to our principles.

“We played on Wednesday night and I always knew, going into the last 15 minutes, there would be a fatigue element to our play that they wouldn’t have but I thought we deserved something.

“Scott Carson was probably man of the match. He was outstanding and that save in the first half is as good as I’ve seen for many years. I don’t know how he got something on Lewie’s one either and then, in the last minute when he does make an error, a defender is stood perfectly on the line.”

He continued: “We’re moving the ball around efficiently and effectively but every time the opposition go forward and have a shot, it seems to go in. That’s difficult to take but we have to persevere.

“If we keep playing this way then we’ll win football matches. It’s easy playing the way we do when we’re winning but it takes tremendous bravery to continue this way when you’re not doing so well - I can’t question any one of my players on that.”

Next up for Robinson's Dons is a trip to Ashton Gate this Saturday to face Bristol City - tickets are priced at £30 adults, £27 over-65s, £25 under-22s, £22 under-19s, £18 under-12s!
