Ben Reeves hopes to build on his performance in Saturday’s 6-1 success over Crewe Alexandra at stadiummk.
"Today was the first game that I’ve really felt myself this season," he told MK Dons Player. "I know personally that I haven’t been playing as well as I can do, but I’m thankful to the players and the management for sticking with me.
"I’ll be aiming to build on my performance and hopefully I can get back to my best soon."
He added: "I was pleased with my goal. I was on a little goal drought before Barnsley, but I’m back amongst them now and hopefully I can build on that too."
Despite his modesty, Reeves played a major role in the famous Capital One Cup second-round victory over Manchester United, which set up a clash with league rivals Bradford City on Tuesday evening.
"It was a great win in the last round and it would be nice if we could back that up. We'll be doing all we can to get through."
