Scott, who has won the FA Women’s Cup eight times, visited Snozone MK, the indoor real snow slope facility in Milton Keynes, where a replica ice sculpture of the iconic FA Women’s Cup trophy was on display during the day for the special occasion.

Visitors also had the chance to pose with the player and the historic piece of silverware.

The Gunner’s player also paid a visit to a group of girls taking part in the MK Dons Sport & Education Trust half-term football courses at MK Dons training ground. The youngsters received top tips on developing their skills and improving their play, as well as taking part in photography and collecting autographs.

Alex Scott said: “It’s exciting that the Cup Final is getting closer and it’s great to meet these young girls. They all said they are going to be at the game. It’s important they see their role models actually live in action, so hopefully we can inspire them, the next generation coming through.”

Arsenal will look to be lifting the prestigious trophy for the second season in a row and for the 13th time in the club’s history - more than any other club.
