Dele Alli has become the first Dons Academy product to receive a call-up to the England senior team.
Speaking to mkdons.com, his former manager Karl Robinson said: “This is one of the best bits of news I’ve received since becoming a manager. He’s done it all on his own and deserves everything that is coming his way.”
Alli, who made his senior debut in a FA Cup tie against Cambridge City back in November 2012, scored 24 goals in 88 appearances for the Club after progressing through the youth-team set-up at stadiummk.
Signing for Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur back in January, the midfielder returned to stadiummk on loan and helped the Dons achieve a first-ever promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
The Club would like to wish Dele every success during his time with the England squad and in the future.
