Walsh named in Wales squad

Posted: Thu 16 Mar 2017

Joe Walsh has been named in the Wales squad for their World Cup qualifier against Republic of Ireland.

Walsh & Co will take on Martin O’Neill’s side at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday 24th March, kick-off 7.45pm.

It’s the second successive squad that Walsh has been involved in after being part of the 23-man party that drew 1-1 with Serbia in November.

Chris Coleman’s men are third in Group D but a win would see them move to within a point of their opponents, who currently lead the way.
