The two Georges – Baldock and Williams – were in fine form when they sat down with REDDOT for the final edition of the 2016/17 season.
Baldock and Williams, two of the side’s stand-out performers in 2016/17, reflected on a rollercoaster campaign, each other’s displays, their friendship, nicknames and much more!
Williams said: “We get on really well and do a lot of stuff outside of football. We’re going on holiday together as well! The lads sometimes give us banter for but they can’t break the vibe between us!”
On the other George, Baldock said: “I’d say Willo has been very good. He was starting at the beginning of the season but he got his chance and has done very well since, never really coming out of the team.
“He’s played across the back four and I remember him coming on in holding midfield at one point too, which brought back some memories from our Academy days!”
