Reeves hopes to reach peak

30 March 2017

Ben Reeves hopes to reach his peak levels of performance in the final month of the season and help MK Dons end the 2016/17 campaign on a positive note.

Reeves has scored two goals since returning to action in February – taking his total for the campaign to eight – but the midfielder now wants to find consistency between now and the end of April.

“I’d like to get more consistent with my performances,” Reeves told REDDOT.

“I felt like I was there before I had my groin injury. I felt great, I could run everywhere and I could do whatever I wanted on the ball – that’s a great feeling to have.

“I’m back now from my last injury and I’ve had a few games where I’ve been up and down in terms of performances. Hopefully I can kick on again and get my performances back to the levels I know I can get to and maintain that for the rest of the campaign.

“I think little bits of it are coming off in games recently – although I know I’m not there yet, hopefully I can get back to that soon.”

You can read the full interview with Ben Reeves in Saturday's edition of REDDOT, which will be available from sellers around Stadium MK and the Box Office at a price of £3.
