On last-minute winner...
“I was quite relieved when we got the free-kick. I asked the ref, about 20 seconds before, how long was left and he said a minute. It was a great bit of play in the corner to win the free-kick and I just thought, ‘this is our last chance now, let’s try and get a last-minute winner. I made a run to the back post and it was just a fantastic ball from Ed. Thankfully it came to me and went in to the back of the net.”

On dream league debut for MK Dons...
“It’s a good start on a personal level. It’s a great three points for the team, which is always the main thing. As a defence, the clean sheet is great as well. To keep two clean sheets in two away league games is not a bad start.”

“It was a great save, to be fair. I thought I could have smashed it but it was too wide for me to try and do that. I tried to go across him but it was a good save from the keeper.”
On coming close to a goal...

“I’m thankful to (the manager) for giving me the opportunity. Younger players tend to come on when the game’s virtually done but he believed in me and, as I said, I’m thankful for the opportunity.”
On coming on in a tight match...

“It was good. It was a good experience. It was my league debut and I’ve been looking forward to this for two years now. To get the win just tops it all off.”
On making his league debut...
KABONGO TSHIMANGA

“We’ll take (the momentum) into the next game against Reading in the cup. That will be a tough game against, obviously, a Championship team but we’ll go there to win and try to progress. Then it will be about recovering and getting ourselves ready for a big game against Peterborough. It’s a bit of a derby and I’m sure we’ll be ready.”
On Reading and Peterborough games...

“(The character) has never been in question with this bunch of players. Certainly since I’ve joined the Club I’ve noticed that straight away. The way that we play, the style that we play, is difficult to play very well every single week. You have to dig in, show character and defend. That’s what we’ve done today, kept a clean sheet. That’s the sign of a good team, when you don’t play well but (you win). (Rochdale) have got a good home record and they are a good side so to come back home with three points is great for the team.”
On character of the team...

“(To get more minutes) is the plan. Obviously as a striker I’ll looking to get one or two goals this season to kick-start my career.”
On plan moving forward...

“The manager has put a lot of faith in the younger players this season, obviously with the lack of more experienced players that we have at the Club. It’s a good opportunity for the likes of me, Giorgio (Rasulo), Brandon (Thomas-Asante), (Ben) Tilney, Oran (Jackson) and the others to show what we can do in training and look to put out a performance in the games.”
On first-team opportunity...

“We know this is still early on in the season but the manager said to us in the changing room that every point counts. These are the sort of games where we have to get the points to get the spirits up. We’ll look to kick on from there.”
On a big three points...

“It was brilliant. It was basically the last kick of the game so for us to win it like that was incredible.”
