On what can be taken from the game...
“I think all we can take from this game is positives. They are a Championship side and we took them right to the wire. We all know in penalties, what will be, will be. It’s in the fate of the Gods really. We took them all the way so we can be proud of ourselves, I think. We played really well tonight and only positives can be taken.”
On defeat...
“We’ve lost in the end so obviously we are a bit disappointed but we’ll dust ourselves and we’ll get ready for Peterborough on Saturday.”
On getting more match minutes...
“I wanted to play tonight and I was pushing to play. I’m feeling better each game and I feel I’ve played enough games now to say I’m fully fit.”
On Saturday’s clash with Peterborough...
“Peterborough on Saturday, we all know that’s a big one, a bit of a derby. These next few days we’ll rest and make sure we’re ready to go on Saturday.”

“That’s obviously the plan for me and the other young players. Firstly, enjoy the game because you don’t want to come in panicking because of the crowd and that. You have to stay relaxed and really enjoy the moment."

“Gaffer just said to the boys, ‘work hard’. We knew this was going to be a tough game coming up against a Championship side but it was a good game.”
On tough test...
“It’s unbelievable. I’m lost for words, really. I was really looking for a chance throughout the game and luckily it came late in the game and I took it.”
