Others
Two former Dons began their careers with Everton but never featured for the Merseyside outfit.

Sean O’Hanlon, a Liverpudlian, came through the youth ranks at Goodison Park before later signing for the Dons and helping them to both the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and League Two titles in 2007/08 season.

O’Hanlon left Everton for Swindon Town, who were then managed by the late Andy King - a skilful midfielder who made 248 appearances for the Merseyside club before spending time with the Dons as chief scout after his playing days were over.

The other Don to start in the Toffees Academy was Carl Regan who, like O’Hanlon, wasn’t able to make an appearance for Everton’s first-team. He would, though, play 40 times for the men from MK1 during an 18-month spell.

One more player to have ties to both the Dons and Everton is Matty Kennedy, who spent a short period of time on loan at Stadium MK while on the books the Toffees’ books. The winger moved to Goodison Park from Kilmarnock in 2012 but never featured for the first-team.
