Andrew Osei-Bonsu helped Corby Town to secure a place in the final of the NFA Hillier Senior Cup on Wednesday evening.
After a scoreless first-half, Andre Johnson pounced on a defensive mistake to put Corby ahead. The striker then doubled both his and his side’s tally from the penalty spot before Joe Iaciofano put the icing on a convincing victory with a third goal late on.
Corby boss Gary Mills praised Osei-Bonsu after his first Steelmen start, telling CorbyTownTV: “Andrew is sharp and technically very sound. He put a shift in (tonight).”
Next up for Osei-Bonsu and Corby is an important Evo-Stik League Northern Premier Division home fixture with Mickeover Sports.
