MK Dons will play two friendlies and one behind-closed-doors match in Ireland next month.
They will train on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and each day will include three sessions designed to improve the players’ fitness – stamina work on the beach, football-based sessions on the pitch and further strength and conditioning training in the gym.
Then, after a recovery day on Sunday, the Dons will play three matches across three days, starting with their annual clash against St. James’s Gate at the Iveagh Grounds on Monday 11th – kick-off 7.45pm.
Robinson’s side will then travel to County Louth on Tuesday 12th to take on Irish Premiership side Drogheda United at Hunky Dory Park – the Dons previously faced Drogs in July 2014. Kick-off is also at 7.45pm.
Ticket details for both games will be confirmed in due course.
Finally, on Wednesday 13th, the Dons will play a behind-closed-doors match against an unnamed side.
They will then return to UK on Thursday to prepare for their double-header against Cambridge City and St. Ives Town on Saturday 16th – the team’s first two friendlies on home soil.
