Ryan Colclough has impressed since joining on loan from Wigan Athletic and the winger capped off a strong start with an equalising goal in last Saturday’s draw at the Macron Stadium.
“I’ve beaten by man and I’ve seen the keeper’s legs open so I’ve tried to put it through his legs,” Colclough told MK Dons PlayerHD. “It’s come back and it’s hit my knee and gone in the back of the net.
“It was a little bit lucky but from what I’ve heard, that’s the luck that we’ve needed.”
“(Bolton) are top of the league for a reason but we’ve put the work in, we’ve battled and we should have really had the three points.”
“We’ve got the point and not only have we got the point but we’ve put a great performance and a great shift in. The commitment from the boys was unbelievable and you can’t fault the boys’ efforts.
Colclough’s crucial second-half finish helped the Dons put an end to a consecutive defeats and the 21-year-old believes earning a point against such a good outfit will help give the team confidence moving forward.
He continued: “You’ve got to get points from the teams that are up there because that’s who we’re really fighting against.
