Andrew Osei-Bonsu made his debut for Corby Town in the closing-stages of their 2-0 victory over Frickley Athletic.
The second-year scholar, who joined the Steelmen on work-experience terms, replaced the scorer of Corby’s first goal – Jordan Crawford – in stoppage time to help see out the success at Westfield Lane.
Crawford broke the deadlock inside the first minute before Stefan Moore secured victory on the hour.
The result lifts the Northamptonshire outfit to within one point of safety in the Evo-Stik League Northern Premier Division.
Osei-Bonsu will be looking to play more of a part in Corby’s next outing – a home clash with Desborough Town on Wednesday evening.
