Nicholls set for Huddersfield switch

Goalkeeper to leave at the end of his MK Dons contract...

26 May 2021

Lee Nicholls will join Huddersfield Town when his MK Dons contract expires at the end of June.

Russell Martin revealed earlier this month that the long-serving goalkeeper was set to leave the Football Club and his departure has now been confirmed, with the 28-year-old agreeing a deal to join the Terriers.

Nicholls, who arrived at MK Dons in August 2016, totalled 157 appearances throughout a five-year spell at Stadium MK, during which time he helped the Dons achieve promotion to Sky Bet League One. He is Club’s third-most capped goalkeeper and ranks 14th all-time for games played for MK Dons.

The Club would like to thank Lee for his contribution during his five seasons at Stadium MK and wish him every success in West Yorkshire.
