Loan Watch: All four loanees feature

4 May 2021

All four of MK Dons’ loanees saw minutes on the pitch for their respective sides during the latest round of fixtures.

Firstly John Freeman was handed two starts in the space of three days for Woking, however, he was unable to help them pick up an important three points.

On Saturday, Woking fell to a 4-2 defeat against Weymouth before Dagenham and Redbridge ran out 3-1 winners on Monday evening.

John Freeman started both games and is next in action on Saturday as they host Chesterfield.

Laurie Walker retained his place in goal for Oldham Athletic, however, he had an afternoon to forget. Keith Curle’s side suffered a 4-1 defeat against Mansfield Town with goals from Tyrese Sinclair, Jamie Reid and a George Lapslie brace securing all three points for The Stags.

Hiram Boateng and Cambridge United’s wait for promotion will have to wait until the final game of the season. They suffered a 5-4 defeat against Harrogate Town on Friday evening, with Boateng playing 83-minutes of the defeat.

Finally, Sam Nombe featured in Luton Town’s draw with Middlesbrough – he played the final seven minutes as he replaced James Collins.
