Loan trio to return to clubs

5 May 2017

Loanees Harvey Barnes, Stuart O’Keefe and Maecky Ngombo are all set to return to their parent clubs.

Barnes joined the Dons on loan from Leicester City in January and quickly made an impression by netting just three minutes into his debut.

The attacking midfielder went on to score a total of five goals in 21 games for the men from MK1, earning the Club’s Young Player of the Year Award as recognition for his performances.

O’Keefe, meanwhile, moved to Stadium MK on Deadline Day in January, signing from Sky Bet Championship outfit Cardiff City until the end of the season.

He also found the net on a number of occasions during his time with the Dons, including a stunning winner in the 1-0 victory over Coventry City. In total, O’Keefe scored four goals in 18 appearances.

Ngombo made the switch from German outfit Fortuna Dusseldorf to Stadium MK in late January.

The striker featured nine times, including one start in the 1-0 triumph over Oldham Athletic.

The Club would like to thank Harvey, Stuart and Maecky for their contributions this season and wish them all the best for the future.
